AfrikaBurn community members are kick-starting a new fundraising campaign to develop an AfrikaBurn-based boardgame… think Monopoly (or Ephemeropoly if you’ve got a good memory), but instead of screwing your family over with exorbitant rents, having a big argument and getting a divorce at the end of it, you’ve instead given away all your money, created some incredible artworks and everyone who took part wins. Sometimes. Play the board and overcome wind, rain, sparkleponies and even the plague!
We need your help to do this … and we’re looking for support in a few areas.
- We need your AfrikaBurn artworks 3D models. Preferably in a .STL format. Keep in mind that these have to be 3d printer ready. No holes in the mesh, volumeless surfaces and keep an eye out for internal voids. We need to be able to remove support structures (added by the printer) from the model to make it look pretty.
- We need any game designers or anyone interested in volunteering for this fundraiser to contact Scheepers directly at scheepers@afrikaburn.com.
